Kodachrome 1935 - 2009
I will be the first to tell you that I dont know much about film photography, dont get me wrong I have taken plenty of pictures with film when i was much younger. I wasnt truly interested in photography then like I am now, However I cant help but feel a little sad when I heard that the Eastman Kodak company was retiring the film after 74 years. I guess all good things must come to an end, or so im told. I suppose one of the biggest reasons they are stopping production on the film is because of people like me who are strictly digital shooters, unfortunatly the demand is not there anymore. Some of the best photographs ever taken were on Kodachrome, and they will be forever enjoyed for generations to come. Kodachrome will always hold a special place in the hearts of photographers around the world.
